Local food pantry helps distribute diapers to families in need
MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — In one week, the 9 Diaper Drive collected more than 6,000 diapers for Mecklenburg County families in need.
It also collected more than 5,600 wipes and more than 500 period and adult incontinence products.

Duke Energy employees, nonprofit partners and other volunteers on Wednesday gathered to pack supply kits for western North Carolina.
More than 200 Duke Energy employees, nonprofit partners and other volunteers came together Wednesday to pack supply kits for western North Carolina.
The “Rally for Relief” event took place between noon and 12 p.m. at the Raleigh Convention Center.
The kits will support ongoing recovery efforts in western North Carolina, and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle will help with transporting the supplies.

In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina, myTalk 107.1/Minneapolis-St. Paul raised $31,652. The radio station then partnered with the Diaper Bank of North Carolina to purchase over 125,000 diapers for needy families in the Asheville area.
