The Period Power Coalition is a youth-led initiative of the Diaper Bank of NC dedicated to achieving menstrual equity by empowering young people to use their voices and raise awareness regarding the stigma around period poverty.

Ready to stand with us? Period Power Coalition Ambassadors meet virtually twice a month on Mondays at 7:30 PM, with a focus on connecting student leaders with the tools and resources they need to make a difference in the fight against period poverty in their schools and communities. Period Power Advocacy Day 2026

Period supplies are school supplies!

We were thrilled to participate in the Period Power Advocacy Day 2026 at the NC General Assembly. This student-centered event gave us the opportunity to meet with state legislators, raise awareness about period poverty, and advocate for increased access to period supplies for students across NC.

Breaking the Cycle: A Period Equity Event 2026

Student leaders and period advocates joined us at our Hillsborough warehouse to pack menstrual products to distribute in schools across NC! Our Period Power Coalition Board hosted this event to share more about period advocacy, how to get involved, and forge connections with other teen leaders in North Carolina who are passionate about period equity.
